Cleaning Greasy Appliances
Does it seem like no matter what you do you just can’t get the cooked on grease off of your kitchen stove? I often have this problem. Looking around online I found some ways to get the grease off. I read some of the reviews about these various methods and they were pretty good. I thought I’d share them with you.
-Vinegar-
I have read about the many uses for vinegar but I didn’t think it could be used to clean the stove. To clean your stove with it
1.Pour the vinegar into a spray bottle.
2.Spray it directly onto the greasy area.
3.Let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off with a washcloth or thick paper towel wet with hot water. Using a plastic scrubber that is non abrasive will help too.
-Baking Soda-
Baking soda has got to have been around for 100 years or more. It can used for so many things. To use it on your stove:
1.Dampen and washcloth or sponge
2.Sprinkle the baking soda on the wet cloth/sponge
3.Scrub the area that you want to clean.
It won’t scratch the surface you are cleaning and it will leave that area really clean.
-Grease-
When I read about using grease clean grease I thought “What?”. I haven’t tried this one personally but when you try it, leave a comment below letting me know how it turned out.
1.Dab a little vegetable oil on to a paper towel.
2.Rub it onto the sticky greasy surface you are cleaning.
3.Finish it off with your regular cleaning solution to remove all of the grease at once.
