No Expense Spared Part 2 of 2
Doing things in excellence often takes more than one person to make things happen. One reason I believe that it is hard to get things done right is the lack of help. If one person has to carry a large load, some things are going to get dropped. In 2 Chronicles 2, Solomon went to another king and asked for some things that would be needed. This king pitched in and helped to make the temple of the Lord right. This says a lot. This king could have been selfish and said “well the temple is not being built in my kingdom so why should I help?” but he didn’t. In 2 Chronicles 2:13-14 the king of Tyre tells Solomon that he is sending his skillful craftsmen. Even the other king didn’t slack when it came to helping out. We as believers should take care of each other. If someone needs something and we can help or even connect them to someone else that can help, we should do it.
Ladies, this is not to put anyone down. There are areas in which I too must step it up and strive for excellence as well. We should go the extra mile not just when we do things for God, but when we do things period. Helping each other is important as well. When we help with the visions of others’, someone else will help ours. My husband often says “if you can’t do it right, don’t do it at all.” So, let’s step it up for the kingdom of God and begin to put 100% effort into all that we do.
