Mod.s.t Fashions’ Look of The Week: Fall Transitioning
Although the weather is still warm, and as much as we love the long sunny days, summer is drawing to a close. This weeks look focuses on how to transition your favorite summer pieces to fall. Fall transitioning doesn’t have to be hard. You don’t even need to go shopping. Here are a few tips to help make that transiiton a little easier.
Cardigans:
Cardigans are a great way to add a warm cozy layer to a summer top. Available in many colors and lengths, a cardigan can not only add a warm layer, it can also add color and more personality to your outfit.
Shoes:
Trade your sandals in for a cute pair of ankle booties. During the fall season, tall boots aren’t needed. However, ankle boots allow your feet to be warmer and maintain your comfort by not smothering your legs. Pumps and ballet flats are also great fall shoe alternatives.
Accessories:
Bright summer colors can be exchanged for warmer hues such as burgundy, mustard, and browns. Try pairing some of your favorite summer pieces with fall inspired colors to give your look current season twist.
The look below took a summer kimono top and transitioned it to a fall piece bay adding a cardigan, and booties. A top handle bag and matching accessories complete the look.
I hope these quick tips will help you to transition your summerwardrobe to fall modestly. As as alwasy don’t forget to hop over to Long Didtance Loving and check out {av}’s Friday’s Fancies
