Mod.s.t Fashions’ Look of The Week: Over Sized Clutches/Thinking Pink

This week, we’ll be taking a look  at over sized clutches. I tend to carry a lot of stuff when I leave the house.  So, I need a bag big enough to hold everything.  I usually go for a large handbag or shoulder bag. But, this season, I’ve been looking at clutches more and more. The clutch bag has been super sized this season and has become a big trend.

Here are a few tips on how to get the most out of this popular trend:

Textures such as snakeskin(shown below), fur trim and even tweed are great and can jazz up your look. Making it more stylish and sophisitcated.

Bold Color clutches add a fun touch of personality to your look. It’s also a great way to sneak a little color into your ensemble. (shown at top middle)

Envelop clutches give your look a more professional appeal (shown below).

Printed clutches can add spice to your look without taking it overboard. Don’t be afraid to try a leopard printed or polka dot clutch.

This week’s look is special. It not only focuses on a hot trend but it also highlights breast cancer awareness. As you may know, October is breast cancer awareness month. You can show your support by donating to charitable organizations centered around breast cancer, and even by participating in some of the events hosted in your area. This month, wear pink to show your support. I wear pink for a couple of family members that were affected by breast cancer. Who do you wear pink for?
