Will Work For Food Part 2 of 2

I noticed that during the conversation Jesus was having with His followers, He never tried to force the people to believe. He simply presented the word of God and gave them a choice. The same goes for us. God gives us His word and gives us a choice. It is up to us to seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 is a popular faith scripture. But the scripture doesn’t end at the faith part. It says that God rewards those who diligently seek Him. God is not a “no-show”. When we are persistent and hard working at seeking Him, He will be there.

After being asked to give them the bread He was speaking about, Jesus told them that He was the bread of life and if they came to Him and sought Him, they would never hunger or thirst. My sister, the rewards for seeking the Lord are so much greater than any natural reward we could ever receive. I believe that eternal life is just the tip of the iceberg when seeking the Lord. Seeking the God brings life, light, happiness, peace…the list goes on and on. Whatever we desire, if we seek God, those things will come.  The same thing that Jesus told His followers in John 6:27, He is still saying to us today. So, let’s work for food…spiritual food.
