Enjoy Your Life!

I felt the Lord reminding me the other day to simply enjoy my life. With so much chaos going on in the world today, life can be overwhelming. It can cause us to feel like life isn’t enjoyable anymore. Sometimes, we may even feel guilty for enjoying life while so many others live in turmoil.

Jesus talks about this in John 10:10. It says “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” We know that strife, turmoil, and unrest only comes from the enemy. But Jesus is the remedy for strife, turmoil, and unrest. He comes to bring life, light and goodness to the world. In this scripture, Jesus not only talks about bringing life, but bringing abundant life. One of the definitions dictionary.com gives for the word abundant is “richly supplied”. I don’t believe Jesus came to give us a richly supplied life for to sulk and fret about it.

So, wherever you are simply enjoy life. If there are things in our lives that need change, sulking and worrying about it won’t change the situation. We can take our problems to God and go on about our way believing that He will make the change. Let’s be thankful and praise God for our lives. I have decided that I’m going to enjoy my life…I invite you to enjoy yours as well
